Below are the links for the upcoming tournament season. Please take note of the following important updates regarding teams:
1. Team Structure:
Age levels with multiple teams will be identified as AAA, AA, and A. This structure, modeled after minor league baseball, reflects how Complete Game operates: Players are assigned to a “level” that best suits their current development. Player movement between levels is fluid and will occur if it is determined that a different level is more appropriate for their growth.
2. High School Teams:
For high school players, there will be a team participating in league play, composed of 15U and 16U players. This league team will also be fluid, competing more locally. Some players may exclusively play on the league team, some may split time between league and tournament play, and others may join specific league games for targeted development. Roles for tournaments and games will be communicated well in advance to ensure clarity.
3. Roster Planning:
Rosters will not be finalized until the conclusion of winter training. For this reason—and to accommodate the fluidity outlined above—we kindly ask that all trips or time off be planned around the events listed for your age group.
4. Tournament Selections:
Tournaments are carefully selected each year based on player experience and the level of competition. In past years, we’ve seen some previously reliable events decline in quality. As a result, we start the year by choosing tournament organizers that consistently host strong events and attract top-tier competition both locally and nationally.
For high school tournaments, the schedule was developed in collaboration with Sam Sharf of CSA (College Sports Advisors). Sam provided expert guidance to ensure the high school calendar is designed to maximize players’ college recruitability.
Complete Game is a program, not just a team. The teams, games, and tournaments serve as avenues to develop our players, not as a hierarchy of “who’s better.” We ask that you adopt this mindset as well. Our goal has always been to communicate clearly as a program, and this year we plan to go even further by providing updates on player progress, expectations for events, and more.
